Warehouse Dock Associate / Material Handler (Suwanee, GA)
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Dock Associate / Material Handler in Suwanee, GA, offering weekly pay and a range of benefits with the opportunity for a career in a safe supply chain environment.
Position Details
Hourly pay: $18.18 per hour
Schedule: Third Shift, Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 pm – 6:00 am
Location: Suwanee, GA
Job Description
Products handled include bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, and other inventory.
Use of stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts and pallet jacks.
Responsible for loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Maintain accurate picking and packing, audit inventory, and stage products for shipment.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
Valid forklift operator’s license.
Clean driving record and personal vehicle for travel within the area (approximately 25–50% of the day).
Strong technical aptitude, including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and entry of orders into a WMS system.
Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 35 lb for push/pull tasks.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and work both indoors and outdoors.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse work environment.
Punctual with a good attendance record.
Depends on reliable performance under pressure with a high degree of accuracy.
Flexibility to work on a flexible schedule across various shifts.
