
MDS Coordinator RN

Overview
Willowdale Village is now hiring an MDS Coordinator. Part Time Position. Can also provide FT hours if needed. Candidate must be a Registered Nurse RN. The MDS Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process in accordance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Lead and motivate staff to follow RAI processes in a timely and accurate manner.
Promote collaboration and communication across disciplines to support resident care.
Provide a supportive presence to residents to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferably BSN.
Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry.
Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing settings.
