Overview
DJK Custom Homes is a family-owned custom homebuilder seeking a highly organized and driven Accounting & Project Operations Coordinator to support both our financial and project management teams. This is a fast-paced, detail-critical role supporting active construction projects. The ideal candidate is highly responsive, able to prioritize effectively, and thrives in an environment where timelines, accuracy, and follow-through are essential.
What you’ll do
Manage AP/AR, reconciliations, and job cost tracking in QuickBooks Online
Process construction draws, lien waivers, and subcontractor payments
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections
Project & Buildertrend Coordination
Manage billing, change orders, and selections in Buildertrend
Set up jobs, budgets, and subcontractors
Maintain alignment between accounting and project data
Operations & Compliance
Coordinate permits, HOA submittals, and vendor documentation
Support closings, title coordination, and loan documentation
Maintain organized records across all projects
