Larson Maddox is partnering with a highly respected electric utility cooperative in Amarillo, Texas to identify an experienced Paralegal to join their in‑house legal team. The Role
This position will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to in‑house counsel, with exposure to a broad range of matters typical of a utility and cooperative environment. The paralegal will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the legal function.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day paralegal support to the in‑house legal team
Assist with contract drafting, review, organization, and tracking
Maintain corporate records, legal files, and compliance documentation
Support regulatory, governance, and transactional matters as needed
Coordinate with internal departments and outside counsel
Assist with research, filings, and general legal administration
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, ideally within an in‑house, law firm, or regulated industry environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced setting
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting contracts, corporate, regulatory, or commercial matters is a plus
