One of TEKsystems' clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Desktop Support team. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a local enterprise company and to grow skills within IT Support, with potential career advancement within IT. They are looking for individuals who want to grow within the company.
Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and a range of software applications.
Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Re-image Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10.
Assist users with any logged IT related incident when called upon.
Take ownership of issues by problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service as soon as possible; escalate incidents to other support teams where necessary.
Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
Install and configure new IT equipment.
Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware.
Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners.
Maintain a first-class level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and appropriately.
Qualifications

Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred.
CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role.
Experience upgrading devices and deploying Windows 11 in a corporate environment is a plus.
Job Details

Job Type & Location: Contract to Hire, Grand Haven, MI.
Pay: $22.00/hr (hourly rate; range shown as provided).
Worksite: On-site with a hybrid workplace
Shift: 1st shift on-site.
