The Role at a Glance:
We are looking for a skilled, experienced Catering Captain to join our higher education team in Marysville, MO. As a Catering Captain, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage catering events to ensure success from start to finish.
What you’ll be doing:
Overseeing the setup, service, and breakdown of events.
Managing event staff.
Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines.
Assisting in the recruitment and training of new associates.
Any other tasks as necessary.
What we’re looking for:
Must-haves:
At least three years’ experience in catering, foodservice, or hospitality.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Good knowledge of all aspects of event implementation.
Nice-to-haves:
Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
