Job Overview
The Production Associate is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semi‑automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY as an on‑site role. Shift: Monday‑Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
Work under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel with little supervision.
Maintain accurate records and logs, and collect necessary data for use by Engineering.
Essential Requirements
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
1+ years of production/manufacturing experience.
Physical/Environmental Requirements
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
Compensation
The hourly range for this role is $23.53 per hour to $29.75 per hour, which may be modified in the future.
