Bluebird Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator to lead key HR functions while ensuring accurate and timely payroll for our skilled nursing facility.

What You’ll Do
Human Resources
Lead recruiting and hiring processes
Manage new hire onboarding and orientation
Support employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
Maintain personnel files and compliance records (licenses, certifications, audits)
Coordinate benefits communication and employee support
Assist with unemployment claims and HR compliance
Payroll
Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
Manage timekeeping, edits, and payroll reporting
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and wage/hour laws
Maintain payroll records, audits, and employee data updates
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of payroll and/or HR experience required
Experience in healthcare or long-term care strongly preferred
Knowledge of employment laws and payroll best practices
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Proficiency in Excel and payroll/HR systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be local to the St. Louis area
