Role Overview
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties for assigned business groups with limited guidance. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent development, employee relations, coaching, organization design, training, performance management, payroll, compensation, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. This role is onsite in a large manufacturing facility that manufactures and repairs turbine components. It’s a career that develops as you do, with opportunities to grow.
Key Responsibilities

Delivers Human Resources solutions to drive the business and culture by providing HR partnership for the business operations
Interpret and assist with the understanding of human resources policies and procedures
Conduct investigations and assist in resolving employee complaints and conflicts
Consult with leaders on human resources matters related to talent development, talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, and performance management
Collaborate with the HR team to provide innovative solutions and drive execution of strategies
Partner with hiring managers to develop and maintain job descriptions and development plans
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system. Generate reports and provide data analysis to support HR decision-making
Partner with talent acquisition team and managers on job offers and the hiring process
Conduct onboarding and training with employees and leaders
Support and communicate the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Completes other projects/tasks as assigned
Always maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, or related field.
5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
Ability to multitask. Attentive to details.
Strong experience with oral, written and interactive communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various data figures.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SuccessFactors, UKG, Paylocity preferred
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
