Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
Four (4) years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree
Experience executing full‑cycle FP&A functions—including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling—within a multinational company setting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience streamlining cross‑functional activities into processes
Knowledge of Google’s technical infrastructure, AI/ML hardware, and the economics behind investments needed to support AI/ML demand

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work—whether modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics—is used by leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects concurrently, you focus on detailed analysis while driving big‑picture improvements. The role is integral to the Finance team that supports Cloud Product, Capacity, and Technical Infrastructure organizations, providing financial, analytical, and insight partners to cloud leaders.
Responsibilities
Facilitate cross‑functional workstreams to analyze capacity constraints and cost drivers for customer agreements
Develop models to forecast customer demand and profitability
Partner with engineering, technical infrastructure, and product management to analyze the performance and total cost of ownership for AI product SKUs, incorporating insights into customer proposals
Work alongside capacity, technical infrastructure, and product management to develop cost insights for the new product introduction roadmap based on macroeconomic commodity prices
