Operations Associate & Delivery Driver

As a core member of our Local Operations team, you will play a critical role in executing both delivery and warehouse operations as we scale Rinse in New York. This hybrid role combines daytime route driving with operational support, ensuring orders are processed, quality‑checked, and delivered on time.

You’ll be the face of Rinse for our business customers while also supporting behind‑the‑scenes operations that keep the business running efficiently.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Pay: $20/hr (first 30 days training), then $21–$22/hr.

Mileage reimbursement: $0.70/mile (non‑taxed).

SCHEDULE

Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

All other weekdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Weekends: As needed based on business demand

Employment type: Full‑time, W‑2.

Applicants will be required to submit to a DMV check prior to commencing employment.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL DO DELIVERY OPERATIONS

Drive delivery routes using your personal vehicle (Brooklyn & Manhattan)

Pick up and deliver laundry from our East Williamsburg warehouse

Provide best‑in‑class customer service to business clients

Ensure timely, accurate route execution and SLA adherence

Act as the face of Rinse during all customer interactions

Drive occasional routes to gain on‑the‑ground experience and support Valets as needed

OPERATIONS & WAREHOUSE SUPPORT

Perform quality control and inventory checks on customer orders

Ensure orders are properly prepared and staged for delivery

Troubleshoot delivery and order issues in real time

Support Valets (drivers) throughout their shifts

Partner with Customer Care to resolve customer issues and special requests

Identify operational challenges and help improve processes

Assist with route coverage as needed

AS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE, YOU ARE…

Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (DMV check required). Must be Zipcar & Enterprise Eligible.

Have a reliable 4‑door vehicle

Have a GPS‑enabled smartphone

Are able to lift 50 lbs

Possess strong customer service and communication skills

Are comfortable using tools like Slack, Google Docs, and mobile apps

Can multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Capable of working independently while collaborating with multiple teams

Willing to adapt, take ownership, and support a growing operation
