We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
BIM/CAD Operator
to join our growing team in Tampa, Fl. This role will support the design, coordination, and production of mechanical construction drawings for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate has experience with Revit, strong technical drafting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, estimators, and field teams. This is a hybrid role but for the right candidate it can be fully REMOTE!!
Key Responsibilities
Create, revise, and maintain mechanical shop drawings, layouts, and fabrication drawings using Revit or Navisworks.
Interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and engineering specifications
Assist with HVAC, piping, plumbing, or sheet metal coordination drawings as needed
Produce accurate as-built drawings and project closeout documentation
Coordinate drawings with project managers, engineers, and field personnel
Maintain drawing files, revisions, and document control standards
Identify design conflicts and assist in resolving field coordination issues
Ensure drawings are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards
Qualifications
2+ years of CAD drafting or CAD operator experience preferred
Proficiency in
Revit & Navisworks
required
Experience with BIM software preferred
Background in mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, or construction preferred
Strong understanding of construction drawings and blueprint reading
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
