Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources Leadership team by driving the full spectrum of operational HR activities across your assigned facility and/or service area.

Every day, you will provide strategic HR guidance on employee relations, compensation, conflict management, and organizational development. Partnering closely with staff, you’ll implement impactful HR programs to ensure compliance, drive engagement, and align facility HR with Service Area strategies.

Strategic Alignment – Partner with clients to understand and assess business direction based on the local Market & CommonSpirit Health’s Strategic Plan. Create specific business plans in support of HR-related goals that will meet departmental needs, address weaknesses, capitalize on strengths, and seize opportunities.

Employee Relations – Partner with and serve as a resource to employees, management, and Human Resources to promote and maintain positive employee relations. Proactively identify, manage, and facilitate the equitable resolution of job‑related complaints and concerns.

Labor Relations – Provide direction and support to management regarding the interpretation of policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements. Collaborate with the Employee/Labor Relations CoE to provide education and advice on proper documentation and legal requirements for performance improvement and termination processes.

Performance and Leadership Coaching – Offer advice, feedback, and development to improve the effectiveness of individual leaders and their teams. Address issues related to engagement, performance management, employee relations, training, and other HR areas; coach leaders and employees on management skills, conflict resolution, and communication.

Culture – Integrate culture standards consistent with CommonSpirit Health’s mission, vision, and values into business unit, facility, market, and division practices to create a positive work culture. Use culture diagnostic tools, such as My Culture, to design plans that address identified needs.

Centers of Expertise (CoE) Utilization – Collaborate with CoEs to support the accomplishment of business goals, objectives, and outcomes.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of HR or leadership experience, or a Master’s degree with relevant experience; alternatively, equivalent education and/or experience or certification may be accepted.

Generalist HR experience or at least two specialty areas, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, or talent acquisition.

Demonstrated employee relations experience, including recruitment, training delivery, benefits, and compensation theory/application.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional in Human Resources, upon hire.

Senior Professional in Human Resources, upon hire.

SHRM Certified Professional, upon hire.

Pay Range
$36.00 – $53.08 per hour
