Lead Tech - Multimodality
Report to the Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab or designated supervisor. Operate X-ray equipment in the IR department to obtain radiographic and fluoroscopic images of the whole-body peripheral vascular system under the direction of the operating physician. Lead technical and educational support for staff, including training, performance monitoring, and process improvement. Perform complex interventional radiology procedures while ensuring equipment and quality‑control standards are met.

Responsibilities

Operate X‑ray equipment to acquire diagnostic images.

Position and instruct patients for radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations.

Provide technical and educational resources to staff.

Train staff, monitor performance, and drive process improvement initiatives.

Perform complex IR procedures and uphold equipment and quality‑control standards.

Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years’ experience in an interventional radiology department that performs a variety of procedures. Radiologic technology certification required.

Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license, Fluoro license, and active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license required; or RCIS/RCES.

BLS required.

ACLS required.
