The Opportunity
We need skilled
Construction Specialists
who are local to the
Denver, CO area . This position will report to the Construction Manager and offers an opportunity to join a strong, collaborative team at an early stage of growth, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the continued expansion of GRC.
Responsibilities
Construction specialist is responsible for general laborer duties and support on construction sites
Use various equipment, hand, and power tools
Prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines
Remove, fill, or compact earth
Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade and utility safety standards
Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on the truck
Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to starting construction
Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers; at times flagging traffic
May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies, or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
Ability to follow instructions
Required Qualifications
A valid driver\'s license is required for this position
On-call and weekend availability
Travel is required
Preferred Qualifications
Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
CDL A (Preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Understanding of basic utility construction processes and terminology is a plus
Additional Information
Hourly Range:
$20 - $25 hourly, based on experience
Schedule:
Day Shift: Monday - Friday; Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday
Travel Requirements:
