Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Join our esteemed and expanding cardiology practice as an Internal Medicine - Cardiology specialist, where your skills will contribute to exceptional patient care and innovative cardiovascular services. This is an outstanding opportunity for dedicated cardiologists to work within a robust, patient-focused environment, providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while enjoying a supportive team setting.

In this role, you will perform transthoracic echocardiography (TEE), tilt-table testing, and conscious sedation with proficiency, contributing to a dynamic cardiovascular testing program. The schedule is structured with daily start times at 7:00 AM for cardiovascular testing coordination and end times at 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekday call responsibilities are expected, with no weekend call required, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key responsibilities include conducting stress tests (15-20 daily), stress echo and dobutamine stress echo, tilt table tests, EKGs, echocardiograms, TEE procedures, and maintaining high-quality diagnostics and patient management.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in TEE, tilt-table testing, and conscious sedation
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular diagnostic procedures
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostics

Nice to Have Skills:

• Advanced certifications in cardiology procedures
• Prior experience in high-volume clinical settings
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Cardiology
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency cardiology experience
• Valid medical license and relevant certifications

Other Requirements:

• Ability to perform TEE, tilt testing, and conscious sedation effectively
• Flexibility to start on 06/08/2026
• Valid state medical license and appropriate credentials
• Willingness to participate in weekday on-call coverage
