Full‑time position within the Galaxy Team Freiburg coordinating an EU Horizon‑INFRA Tech grant with 12 European partners.

Description
The ESG4Stars project aims at reducing the environmental footprint of scientific computing and data analysis on European research infrastructure. The project will deliver optimizations, methods for tracking energy costs, training material, and a green‑ready checklist.
Your Tasks
Project administration, management and coordination: organize, lead and document all project management meetings; monitor progress of work packages; ensure milestones are implemented; ensure effective reporting; organize events.
Financial management: ensure budget compliance; manage financial documents; review accuracy; ensure cost control; official point of contact to the EC; communicate with University EU office.
Communication & dissemination: content creation and website maintenance; disseminate outcomes; support training events; contribute to proposal writing.
Your Profile
University degree or education in project management.
Familiarity with the academic environment.
Experience in managing EU‑funded project consortia.
Experience in project management or coordination tasks.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must; German is an advantage.
High commitment, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, reliability, strong team orientation, flexibility and very good self‑organization skills.
