
Shift Supervisor

Position Summary
A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Work effectively with store management and store crews; supervise the store crew through assignment, direction, and follow‑up of all activities.
Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
Provide excellent customer service: assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Manage merchandise presentation and pricing: stock shelves, execute displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Display and maintain off‑shelf merchandise and reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred (but not required).
Compensation
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
Time Type: Full time
Pay Range: $16.50 – $24.00 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
