Human Resources Associate

Summary
This person coordinates and administers a variety of HR responsibilities, including but not limited to record‑keeping, project coordination, Consultant Connection and assists in onboarding/onboarding, as needed. Supports assigned employee and client base by advancing the implementation of people strategies to positively impact business goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Administration
Conduct FLSA evaluations on position descriptions
Proactively manage HR systems to ensure data integrity
Assist HR Lead with training new hires and existing personnel on new processes
Assist HR Lead with auditing employee I‑9s, checklists, new hire files, and supervisor information
Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment‑related laws and regulations
Onboarding/Offboarding
Submit pre‑employment screening orders for new hires, per client requirements, track status of background checks, review non‑compliant results with HR Lead and follow adverse action process when applicable
Review background package for consistency with client background check requirements and add any missing components
Ensure all client‑specific paperwork is sent, signed, completed and properly filed prior to the individual beginning work
Create and maintain employee records in Oracle HCM and PeopleSoft
Coordinate with HR immigration specialist to onboard foreign nationals as needed
Facilitate the I‑9 process, collect employment eligibility verification documents and verify employment eligibility
Coordinate with Travel to order Amex card and assist with travel preferences as needed
Coordinate with IT and AEs to order equipment, safety badges, etc., as needed
Process terminations, collect and file off‑boarding paperwork, process final check according to state or local requirements, verify all equipment is returned following the Asset Process, ensure all consultant expenses are submitted, approved and complete NEXT off‑boarding checklists
Consultant/ Employee Connection
Manage Consultant Connection to ensure all items are completed
Touch base with consultants several times during the first month of employment to ensure a seamless onboarding process
Maintain an open line of communication throughout the duration of the Consultant’s employment to ensure a high level of connection
Perform quarterly data accuracy checks to ensure Consultant data is correct and complete
Generate End Date reports and request that projected end dates be updated when appropriate
Work with the Account Executive and Recruiter to achieve excellent customer service and Consultant Connection
Provide HR and business policy guidance to consultants and assist with the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures
Coordinate with the Benefits team on consultant benefits issues, enrollment, and leave program administration
Direct employment‑related inquiries, such as employment verification requests and unemployment compensation inquiries and proceedings to the appropriate corporate HR contacts
Provide employee relations support and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and administered in a fair and non‑discriminatory manner; escalate more complex situations as appropriate
Oversee facilities management, submit and approve supply orders for designated branch office locations, handle and distribute mail and other files as needed, assist with the coordination of office team‑building events
Ensure compliance with client’s safety requirements and update workplace safety program as needed
Qualifications
3+ years experience working in Human Resources within a staff augmentation or managed services line of business
Strong communicator of oral and written work; also, good presentation skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Education including a BS or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Technically proficient in working with an ERP system as well as MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrate a positive and professional image
