Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Windows Systems Administrator.
Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship.
Duration: 32-week contract with the possibility of extension.
Notes
Hybrid role: onsite once per month.
Qualifications
Windows Systems Administrator with extensive knowledge of the Windows server environment.
Install, configure, and manage Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management to ensure servers are secure and compliant.
Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
Experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, HyperV, Azure and AWS).
Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
Understanding of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and storage systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
