$35–$45 per hour
Cunningham Security is growing—and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Fire & Security Systems Technician to join our high-performing service team. We specialize in advanced fire alarm, intrusion, and life-safety systems that protect what matters most. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert in the field—troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining critical systems, and delivering top-tier service to our customers. Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and intrusion systems
Identify and resolve wiring, device, and communication issues
Perform system testing, programming adjustments, and upgrades
Install or replace system components as needed
Respond to service calls and system alerts in a timely manner
Conduct preventative maintenance, including battery replacements
Accurately document service activity, materials, and findings
Provide professional, customer-focused service in the field
Qualifications
Proven experience servicing fire alarm and/or security systems
NICET Certification (required)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of system wiring, devices, and programming
Clear communication and solid documentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical field work
