Role Overview
The Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting data center and enterprise network infrastructure. The role includes Level 2/3 support, incident management, network upgrades, troubleshooting, and documentation while ensuring adherence to defined SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Operational support and troubleshooting.
Provide Level 2/3 support to resolve network issues within defined SLAs.
Handle data center and branch network incidents and changes, ensuring timely resolution according to SLA.
Participate in on‑call rotation handling Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents in real time.
Perform root‑cause analysis (RCA) and implement long‑term corrective actions.
Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure changes, procedures, and configurations.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot‑fixes, and security configurations.
Deploy and support network hardware such as Cisco NX‑OS platforms (N2K, N3K, N5K, N7K, N9K), Cisco IOS Catalyst switches (3850, 9300, 9500), Fortigate switches, Cisco SD‑WAN (Viptela), Cisco FTD Firewalls, Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco FMC and FortiManager.
Execute code upgrades on network devices to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain standards.
Work on routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, OMP) and switching technologies (STP, RSTP).
Support LAN/WAN, enterprise wireless, and data center networks.
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills across OSI Layers 1–7.
Experience with load‑balancing strategies, SSL certificates, persistence methods, and application traffic management.
Technical Skills

Cisco FTD firewalls and Fortigate firewalls.
Cisco FMC and FortiManager.
Cisco ISE.
