We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, ranging from Mid level Associate to Senior Attorney, depending on your experience and expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing family law cases from beginning to end. The role involves handling divorce, custody, child support, and other related family law matters. The candidate must be comfortable with high‑stakes litigation and be able to navigate the complexities of family law with compassion and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, visitation rights, domestic violence, and other related issues.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, ensuring their rights and interests are effectively advocated for.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, and agreements.
Conduct in‑depth legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Provide clients with sound legal advice and guidance, ensuring they are fully informed about their rights, obligations, and options.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of developments in family law, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience in litigation. (family law preferred)
A proven track record in handling divorce, custody, child support, and other related matters.
Current license to practice law in the state.
Exceptional litigation skills, with experience in representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide clients with clear, concise, and compassionate legal advice.
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice.
Ability to manage a large caseload, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
