Open Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION: To provide the retail licensees of the State of Wyoming with an assortment of wines and spirits in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. The role of a warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk I is the engine room of the supply chain. It's a fast-paced environment where accuracy meets physical stamina. To keep operations running smoothly, a picker must master several key functions that ensure the correct product reaches the right customer at the right time. Pick bottles and full cases of product using handheld devices.
Operate warehouse equipment, including tuggers, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified).
Verify product quantities and inspect for damages or defects.
Stage completed orders in designated areas for palletization and shipping.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Conduct regular and/or spot-check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.
Maintains accurate records and logs.
KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of warehouse procedures and techniques, including sorting and stacking. Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local policies and regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None OR Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Finance) Experience: No prior experience required
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: The ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds at a consistent pace.
NOTES: FLSA: Non-Exempt No family members of existing Liquor Division Warehouse employees are eligible for hire.
