Assistant Business Manager (Food Service) NF-03.

Responsibilities

Assist the Business Manager in directing operations and supervising multiple food service facilities, recommending and enforcing operating procedures, and representing the activity to the public.

Conduct surveys, review activity reports, and make recommendations concerning services, promotion activities, and revenue improvements.

Assist the Business Manager in selecting employees and training new staff on work situations, compliance with health and safety standards, proper use of storage of tools and equipment, and supervise assigned staff.

Complete cash reports and make daily deposits.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Direct deposit and Social Security Card required.

Meet all qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.

A one‑year probationary period may be required.

Successfully complete an E‑Verify check.

Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks, including a Tier 1 background investigation.

Shifts may include morning, night, weekend, holiday, and special‑event work.

Obtain and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification from an ANSI‑accredited agency within six months of employment.

Qualifications

Work experience directly related to the duties to be performed.

Experience must be of comparable complexity and difficulty to the next lower pay level.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, stressful environment.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Certificate in food‑service sanitation or ability to obtain it within three months of employment.
