
Nursery Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our Forest School Nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for a someone who believes in outdoor education and can combine strong leadership with a hands‑on approach. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safety, while fostering a positive and supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners
Oversee the delivery of a high-quality Forest School curriculum
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements
Manage staff training, and development
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the external agencies
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive outdoor learning environment
Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks effectively

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)
Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Early Years Level 5 or Level 6 qualification (e.g., Foundation Degree, BA in Early Childhood Studies)
