The practice primarily focuses on adult patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring comprehensive oncology services.
- Provide oversight of a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Enroll patients in ongoing research studies.
- Participate in call coverage.
- Manage an average patient load of 12-15 patients per day in a hospital setting.
- Ensure continuity of patient care during physician vacations.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active Virginia medical license - REQUIRED
- BLS certification - REQUIRED
- Clean background check; NPDB submission is mandatory - REQUIRED
- Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation - REQUIRED
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Virginia medical license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NPDB report
