Position Summary
The Design Drafter role provides technical support to R&D and prepares technical drawings to aid in sales, while maintaining safe work practices. This role reports to the Engineering Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Work with Sales team and Engineering Department to generate product and application technical drawings.
Generate general and project specific technical drawings to aid in the sales of Prinsco products including Underground Detention systems.
Provide technical support for R&D and manufacturing process related projects.
Provide project specific drafting and system layout support for sales team to increase proactive sales efforts, increase Prinsco presence among Engineers, and help to increase number of projects awarded.
Convert engineers’ rough sketches into appropriate working drawings.
Create Detention System layout drawings to assist in the bid/quote process.
Create fabrication drawings for fittings/custom components.
Provide drafting and technical support for quality, process, or other internal technical initiatives as projects arise.
Maintain master file drawing library for Sales, Operations, and Engineering Drawings.
Assist in the development of custom fitting configurations for sales support.
Assist in the maintenance of sales support tools and resources.
Focus on cross-training, continuous learning and improvement.
Complete other duties as assigned.
