Location & Schedule
This part‑time position is 15–16 hours per week, with two 8‑hour days or three 5‑hour days on site in Needham, MA. No relocation or housing assistance is provided.
This role
The part‑time Consumer Insights Intern will support quantitative and qualitative research to influence SharkNinja’s 5‑star product development. The ideal candidate is naturally inquisitive, has strong project‑management skills, an interest in market research, and demonstrates strategic and critical‑thinking ability. The role works cross‑functionally with Brand and Product Development and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Support and analyze qualitative and quantitative customer research for trends, insights, and new product development.
Assist in the development, management, and execution of research plans.
Translate customer feedback—including latent needs and dissatisfaction—into innovation recommendations.
Identify potential unmet customer needs that form the basis for new product or feature offerings.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan customer research strategies and manage internal resources to deliver on research plans.
Attributes & Skills
Education: Currently enrolled in an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s program.
Availability: Able to work a part‑time 15–16 hour week on site in Needham, MA.
Preferred academic background of 1+ years in a social science (psychology, sociology, marketing, etc.) with an excellent academic record.
Strong project‑management skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, able to synthesize information from various sources.
Adaptable to a fast‑moving, dynamic, agile environment.
Effective in managing shifting priorities and resources.
Builds trust with others and acts on their needs and expectations.
Strong inquisitive nature and critical thinking.
Salary and Compensation
The hourly salary range for this position is $26–$33 USD. Pay may vary based on geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
