The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that means a fin‑tastic variety of recreational activities on the resort! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for an individual with previous knowledge of this type of recreational outlet to support the Indoor Waterpark Manager in providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay $16.00 per hour
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age Reports to: Director of Recreation
As the Pool Supervisor, you will be a vital part of creating an environment of fun and participation while ensuring that the guests are enjoying the area safely. You will support the manager in developing the best customer service skills and oversee the safe enjoyment of the facility.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the information in each pool job description when working in that area.
Assist staff and guests when problems arise.
Ensure the staff has all the tools and supplies to complete their job successfully.
Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guest and staff while maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Oversee staff in day to day operations.
Responsible for all inventories within the department.
Maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices and document any unsafe areas or practices with written documentation and work orders when needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

Personal Skills
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling and recording payments.
Basic computer skills; will use computer software for guest transactions and employee timesheets.
Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
Adjusts to high‑pressure conditions and is open to change.
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
Conducts themself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
Actively listens to others.
Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
Physical Requirements
Must be a strong swimmer.
Minimum pulling and lifting of 20 pounds.
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
Hearing, writing, speaking
Standing for long periods of time.
Must be comfortable in an indoor and outdoor pool environment for extended periods of time.
