Loadout Operator

The Loadout Operator is responsible for loading appropriate product (in terms of quality and grade) into rail, trucks and super sacks according to destination. Essential functions include accurately conducting pre-shift inspections daily, attention to detail, entering car/truck number information, product, tonnage and seal numbers on the loadout register, wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the function being performed, loading railcars and trucks to car/truck weight capacity using a computer loading program, ensuring pre-railcar inspection which includes but is not limited to opening and closing of gates and hatches on every railcar on-site, visually inspecting railcars from on top of railcar; looking for any contamination, cleaning railcars and performing minor repairs to railcars, visually confirming railcar marks during the loading process, sealing railcars by attaching seals on bottom gates and top hatches of the railcar, recording truck/trailer information on truck tickets accurately, ensuring scale tickets are completed with appropriate information, operating transload machines in a safe productive manner, collecting or assisting QC Techs by pulling sand samples for sieve analysis, performing housekeeping as directed, maintaining safe, neat and orderly work areas in and around the facility, committing to and supporting company's Quality Policy and Objectives, following safe work practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and performing work in accordance with all applicable State and Federal mining laws. Other duties as assigned.
