
TAC Warehouse Specialist - Onsite

POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team provides technical support to the company’s end users over the phone, in person, or remotely via remote access software. Responsibilities for the Warehouse Specialist include staging and maintaining depot stock of corporate and retail endpoints and assets, maintaining visibility into hardware stock, and conducting auditing and warehouse functions accordingly. The specialist works closely with the IT Logistics Coordinator and Endpoint Management to ensure that hardware requests and staging are happening to leadership expectations and service level agreement. This is an onsite position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Keep records of warehouse inventory levels and product locations to ensure all items are accounted for.
Perform physical tasks such as staging pallets, moving heavy boxes or large objects.
Work closely with IT Logistics and Endpoint Management teams to ensure that hardware requests are fulfilled in a precise and timely manner.
Communicate with other departments such as shipping and accounting to ensure all products are received and shipped in a timely manner.
Provide input and order requests as necessary to backfill hardware stock.
Complete project work as assigned.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Required: Diploma/GED
Experience: 3 – 4 years of experience in a warehouse and depot environment, technology focus preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
Ability to maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines for lifting heavy objects, wearing protective equipment, or using safety equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Possess strong organizational skills and take pride in maintaining efficient, streamlined processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to provide updates on requests in a concise and timely manner.
Ability to drive change and take initiatives with minimal supervision.
Flexibility and a passion to grow and learn. Ability to balance role expectations with other initiatives and projects.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Some requirements for training but rare circumstances otherwise.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly performs computer work, sits, stands, and/or lifts up to 50lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
