
SOUS CHEF (FULL TIME)

Overview
We are hiring immediately for full time Sous Chef positions at Eurest.
Location: RTX - 1151 E Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday; hours may vary. More details upon interview.
Pay: Fixed Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards. Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders.
Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews, and disciplinary action as appropriate.
Stores and handles food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
Maintains proper portion control, serving temperatures, and presentation.
Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils; keeps workstation clean during meal service and post-service.
Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays information to supervisor.
Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them to associates and customers.
Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
Monitors inventory, deliveries, and waste; informs supervisor when supplies are low.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High-volume production experience required.
