
Instructional Design Specialist II

Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality, accessible instructional materials for in-person, virtual, and self-paced learning formats (e.g., eLearning, videos, job aids, workshops)
Apply experience and expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and learning technologies to create engaging content
Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and requirements
Conduct functional needs assessments and review of performance gaps to recommend learning solutions
Develop storyboards, scripts, and content using tools like Articulate, Camtasia, etc.
Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
Balance multiple projects and/or programs within defined timelines using established workflows
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Master's degree, Certificate or equivalent preferred
3+ years of experience required
Functional knowledge: requires in-depth knowledge of a specialized professional discipline
Business acumen: applies in-depth knowledge and anticipates industry trends
Leadership: not a leader, may be a key member of a project team and provide guidance to junior members of team
Problem solving: identifies and solves moderate technical or operational problems
Impact: executes functional plans and contributes to development of broader outcomes
Interpersonal skills: explains moderately complex information to others in straightforward situations
Timeframe: must meet near-term targets and plan weekly and monthly
Pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
