Public Safety & Community Officer

City of Hoover is looking for law enforcement officers to preserve public peace and prevent crimes in Birmingham, Alabama. Candidates must be at least 21 years old by May 29, 2026, and possess a valid driver’s license. A background check is mandatory, and a High School Diploma or GED is required. Preferred qualifications include the ability to converse in Spanish. Officers will be responsible for investigating crimes, making arrests, and engaging with the community.
