Job Title: Reliability Consultant
Pay Rate: $70-85/hr
Location: Clayton, NC
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Job Type: Contract (6 months with possible extension based on performance)
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (100% onsite)
Job Responsibilities
Lead lifecycle management activities for a large capital investment project, ensuring asset reliability and maintainability.
Develop and generate SAP load lists using project design data, including equipment and functional location structures, CreBills of Materials (BOMs), preventive maintenance plans, calibration and inspection data (as applicable).
Ensure accuracy and completeness of asset and maintenance data within SAP.
Support commissioning and handover activities to ensure reliability is embedded into new assets.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate reliability best practices into design and execution phases.
Support and align with existing site reliability programs and processes.
Provide analytical insights to improve asset performance and maintenance strategies.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or asset management.
Strong hands‑on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
Working knowledge of reliability methodologies and tools (RCM, FMEA, RCA, etc.).
Experience working in regulated environments (pharmaceutical or similar preferred).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) – preferred but not required.
Experience supporting capital projects, commissioning, and asset handover processes.
