The Department of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and ARUP Laboratories invites applications from individuals with a strong interest in building an academic career in Hematopathology.
Qualifications
MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree with board certification or board eligibility in Hematopathology.
Utah medical license or eligibility for Utah medical license.
Experience in clinical diagnostic testing related to hematopathology.
Desirable: experience or certification in molecular genetic pathology or pathology informatics/AI.
Responsibilities
Clinical test result interpretation and reporting.
Quality control and assurance.
Laboratory test development.
Teaching and training of fellows and residents.
Conducting research and investigation.
Committee service and possible directorship of a clinical laboratory section.
Academic rank (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and accomplishments.
