Job Description
Work independently at multiple locations; spend time inside and outside
Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business
Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
Physical Requirements
Transport or move items weighing up to 35 pounds
Walk around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interiors and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal, clean and free of debris
Qualifications
Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service–centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.
Transportation: A valid driver’s license and own vehicle required to travel between work locations and conduct other work-related business. Mileage reimbursement available.
