Job Overview
The Manager, Data & Analytics, plays a key role in supporting commercial data and analytics capabilities that enable informed decision‑making and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT, and external data providers to ensure syndicated data is effectively integrated, governed, and accessible across the organization.

Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Business Partnership

Support the development and execution of the commercial data strategy in alignment with organizational goals and digital transformation priorities.

Data Platforms & Analytics Enablement

Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to establish and follow data architecture and infrastructure standards that support analytics and reporting needs.

Support the design and enhancement of data marts and analytical datasets to ensure consistency, usability, and alignment with business requirements.

Contribute to data platform modernization efforts, focusing on scalability, system integration, and performance.

Data Governance & Quality

Manage source‑of‑truth master data mappings supporting syndicated and retailer reporting, working cross‑functionally to refine data definitions, improve documentation standards, and ensure consistency and reliability across enterprise analytics.

Promote responsible data usage and stewardship across business teams.

Syndicated Data & Automation

Support automated API‑based data integrations from syndicated data providers such as Circana into enterprise data marts.

Lead recurring coordination calls with external data providers to proactively identify and resolve data extraction, quality, or integration issues, ensuring consistent data availability.

Data Coding & New Item Management

Lead syndicated database coding process for WK and Circana, including accurate coding of new items and custom WK characteristics to meet the needs of WK cross‑functional business teams.

Proactive communication of syndicated data database changes across the WK user community and ensure key reporting and analytic teams are informed of downstream impacts.

IT Collaboration & Delivery

Collaborate with IT to ensure smooth data integration from multiple internal and external sources while minimizing bottlenecks and maintaining data integrity.

Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to support development of new data marts and enhancements to existing systems.

Serve as a primary point of contact between business teams, IT, and external vendors to help resolve data‑related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

This role requires permanent work authorization in the United States (temporary work authorization or sponsorship contingent on future sponsorship is not eligible).

4‑6 years of experience in data analytics, syndicated data reporting, insights & analytics, or related roles.

Hands‑on experience leveraging syndicated data platforms (NIQ Discover, Circana Unify), data extracts, and cloud data ecosystems (Snowflake, AWS) within enterprise reporting and analytics environments.

Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data and analytics solutions through strong collaboration and communication across cross‑functional teams, including business partners, IT, and external vendors.

Experience in the CPG industry.

Hands‑on experience with syndicated data providers such as Circana, Nielsen, IRI, and similar.

Strong technical skills including SQL, Python, Snowflake, and SAP HANA.

Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar).

Familiarity with API‑based data integrations, automation workflows, and modern data platforms.

Degree Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (preferred).

Salary
Salary Range: $119,200–$149,000. The actual starting base pay will be determined based on job‐related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, education, and local market conditions.
