
Circuit Card Design Engineer Senior

As the Circuit Card Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control programs, you will design, evaluate, and qualify circuit cards and test hardware that keep mission-critical systems operating reliably in harsh, radiation-rich environments such as space-based platforms.
What You Will Be Doing
Drive the architecture, schematic capture, and EPCAD layout for complex circuit cards.
Work with cross-functional engineers to accelerate design, procurement, and testing while shepherding each design through the Design Assurance process.
Support development of multiple circuit card assemblies for complex systems.
Define, refine, and document system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements.
Conduct trade studies to evaluate design options and recommend optimal implementations.
Capture schematics and collaborate with EPCAD to create layout and signal routing solutions.
Own end-to-end circuit card designs and deliver all data and evidence required for Design Assurance reviews.
Work with systems, electro-mechanical, firmware/software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.
Generate and maintain architecture diagrams, requirements packages, and trade study reports.
Manage bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build-up activities.
Verify compliance with radiation, shock, vibration, and other environmental qualification standards.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
Experience with circuit card design, integration, and testing for digital electronics.
Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent schematic capture tools.
Experience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent circuit simulation and analysis tools.
Ability to work on site three days a week.
Desired Skills
Experience with MFC circuit card design processes.
Experience with military standards and specifications.
Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL).
Experience with ESAF or FTS.
Experience with discrete analog circuit design.
Experience with missile systems.
Experience with missile safety.
Location
This position is based in Orlando, Florida.
Security Clearance
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. This position is at a facility that requires special access.
