Overview
A Licensed HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. The job requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, as well as experience in diagnosing and solving problems related to HVAC systems.
Duties
Install and maintain HVAC systems: HVAC Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems across various platforms such as air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems: Identify the root cause of issues using diagnostic tools and system knowledge to propose solutions.
Repair and replace components: Replace faulty or worn parts, including motors, leaks, or compressors.
Perform regular maintenance: Clean ducts, replace filters, and inspect components to ensure efficient operation.
Provide excellent customer service: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining problems and solutions clearly and professionally.
Keep up with industry trends: Stay current on new technologies, regulations, and best practices through training sessions or workshops.
Maintain accurate records: Document all work performed for billing purposes and regulatory compliance.
Ensures that heating, cooling, and ventilation systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
