Locums Neurosurgery PA Inpatient + OR Tampa, FL Why This Role High-volume neurosurgery program with strong team support Dedicated inpatient + OR role (no outpatient responsibilities) Mix of adult and pediatric cases Ongoing full-time need with consistent schedule Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Setting: Inpatient + OR Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Minimum 2 weeks/month required Call: Night call: 1:4 Äì1:5 Weekend call: 1:4 Äì1:5 EMR: Cerner Credentialing: 30 Äì60 days Requirements Certified Physician Assistant Active FL license ACLS and BLS Minimum 2 years Neurosurgery PA experience (OR/first assist) Clean malpractice history preferred Clinical Details Inpatient rounding and first assist in neurosurgery cases No outpatient clinic duties Responsibilities include: First assist in neurosurgical procedures Pre- and post-operative care Inpatient management of neurosurgical patients Practice environment: 5 neurosurgeons 4 APPs Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center Compensation Facility is accepting bids Malpractice, travel, and lodging covered
