Locums NP/PA Neurosurgery opening in Tampa, FLLocation: Tampa, FL - Gulf Coast / Tampa Bay AreaCoverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + CallAssignment/Call Details: Dates: ASAP - Ongoing Practice Setting: Inpatient neurosurgery (rounding + OR first assist) Patients per Day: VariesSchedule: Full-time coverage: 40 hours per week Must be available for at least 2 weeks per month Inpatient rounding and OR coverageCall: Beeper call Rotating call schedule: 1:4-1:5 weekend call 1:4-1:5 night call Clinical Details: Inpatient-only neurosurgery role (no outpatient responsibilities) First assist in the OR required High-volume neurosurgery program Team includes 5 neurosurgeons and 4 APPs Adult and pediatric patient population Trauma Level II (Adult and Pediatric) EMR: Cerner Skills Required: Neurosurgery first assist Inpatient neurosurgery rounding Pre- and post-operative patient management Surgical assistance in neurosurgical procedures Requirements: Board Certified Physician Assistant Active Florida license ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 2 years of neurosurgery APP experience Clean malpractice and background history Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days Compensation Info: Rate: Negotiable (Tell us your rates) Malpractice provided Travel reimbursement available
