Senior Account Executive – Senior Business Development
A new senior business development role has opened due to growth and new 2025 budget. Rainier Recruiting has partnered with a national IT staffing and IT services company who is seeking a motivated and client-focused Senior Account Executive to join a growing team supporting customers across the West Coast. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in business development and a proven track record in the staffing or recruiting industry. The role focuses on building new client partnerships, expanding existing relationships, and driving revenue growth through consultative, relationship-based sales.

Compensation
Base salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (negotiable based on experience) plus commission, with total OTE of $130,000 - $150,000 in the first year. Commissions are uncapped.

Location
Remote, but candidates must be in WA state.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new business opportunities.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and market intelligence.

Understand client challenges and tailor customized staffing and workforce solutions to meet their needs.

Cultivate and sustain long‑term partnerships with clients, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery of talent and services.

Lead contract negotiations and close agreements that create value for both clients and the company.

Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in staffing or recruiting sales, preferably in the technology sector.

Demonstrated success in developing new business and consistently achieving sales goals.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers at all levels.
