About The Role
Behavioral & Educational Solutions, P.C. (BES) is seeking an experienced ABA Assistant Clinical Director to oversee clinical quality, treatment fidelity, and accountability within our clinic-based ABA program. This is a clinical management—not director—role, ideal for a BCBA who excels at mentoring, quality assurance, and real-time implementation oversight. This position is part of a leadership development pathway, with long-term growth potential into an ABA Clinical Director role overseeing both clinic- and home-based programs.
The ABA Assistant Clinical Director ensures that treatment plans developed by BCBAs are implemented with consistency, safety, and effectiveness by RBTs to establish BES standard. The role includes a reduced caseload, with billable time focused primarily on treatment fidelity observations, implementation spot-checks, parent training, company professional development and clinical quality assurance rather than full case ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee clinic-based ABA service implementation to ensure high clinical standards and treatment fidelity
Conduct treatment fidelity observations and implementation spot-checks on cases managed by other BCBAs
Provide timely, structured feedback to BCBAs regarding implementation quality and clinical risks
Mentor and support Student Analysts working toward BCBA certification
Manage ABA biannual professional seminars
Monitor RBT performance, professionalism, and adherence to treatment plans
Perform Quality Assurance activities, including documentation review and 24-hour note conversion compliance
Ensure staff compliance with BES policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines
Collaborate with BCBAs, Operations, and Clinical Director
Caseload Structure
Reduced caseload compared to standard BCBA roles
Billable focus on Quality Assurance, treatment fidelity, and RBT implementation monitoring
Direct cases assigned selectively based on program needs
Qualifications
Master's degree required
BCBA certification is required
Active Maryland Behavior Analyst licensure
3-5+ years providing ABA services to children as a BCBA
Experience mentoring RBTs and BCBA candidates preferred
Compensation
$107,000-$117,000 annually
Up to 7% annual performance bonus incentive
