
Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse - $2,447 per week

Job Description
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13‑week travel nursing assignment in Santa Rosa, California. The role requires a 12‑hour night shift with 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Assist physicians during epidural or pain medication administration, episiotomies, or preparation for cesarean delivery.
Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor.
Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids before and after birth.
Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
Provide immediate care for the newborn.
Qualifications
RN licensure.
3 years recent acute‑care experience.
ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP certification; at least 2 years of experience.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong coping skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Pay & Benefits
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend to be determined.
