Responsibilities
Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor.
Monitor contractions and assist patients with breathing techniques.
Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
Maintain clean and dry beds, clean up bodily fluids before and after delivery.
Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments.
Provide immediate care of newborn.
Qualifications
RN licensure.
Minimum 3 years recent acute care experience.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, 5 Years.
Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift 20 lbs (up to 50 lbs when required).
Strong interpersonal and stress‑management skills.
