Schedule
Monday to Friday, Between 8 AM-6 PM, 40 hours/wk (starting time flexible)

Primary Responsibilities

May handle any escalated calls from members and assist them with their inquiries. Routes calls to appropriate department if necessary

Provides support to internal staff, subcontractors and providers with respect to Medicare drug related issues

Serve as a team lead for the Quality Pharmacy team and mentor new employees to the team as necessary

May assist department trainer in putting together materials (job aids, screen shots, short video demonstrations, etc.) for reference within the Quality Pharmacy team

Participates in and contributes to the overall pharmacy quality improvement initiatives

Collects and maintains eligibility information in an appropriate and confidential manner

Assist with new hire trainings

Acts as point of contact for process/workflow related questions

Enters all assigned applications within a specified time frame to ensure eligibility deadlines are met accordingly

Exhibits excellent phone and communication skills while providing complete and accurate information to members

Requests additional or supplemental information via correspondence to complete application

Adheres to assigned schedule and quality metrics

Uses a multi-lined telephonic system to answer calls regarding pharmacy related quality metrics

Performs all other related duties as assigned

Support the definition of processes and policies and communicate the context in which processes and policies are applied

Provide input on any process or documentation changes

Complete any UAT testing on new applications

Resolve issues relevant to the process within their area of expertise

Complete Agent Call Audits

Review and update SOPs

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED

National Pharmacy Technician Certification

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas

5+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

1+ years of experience in your current role

Intermediate level of knowledge of Medicare Part D, particularly the pharmacy record review, claims, billing and reimbursement rules

Intermediate level of knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and CMS security requirements

Intermediate level of proficiency with general writing skills and ability to produce work free from typographical or spelling errors

Intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
