Job Description
A clinically competent, registered professional nurse with demonstrated expertise in the perioperative field. Effectively delivers perioperative care to the surgical patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The RN II assists with the supervision of non-professional personnel in the area, anticipates the needs of the surgical team by assessing the individual patient and procedure, and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The RN II utilizes initiative and strives to maintain a steady level of productivity.

Position Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current GA State license; certified in AHA BLS upon hire and unit-specific advanced competencies; ACLS and PALS with 1 year of hire.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience:
RN with OR experience preferred, minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience.
