About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Marketing and Distribution to spearhead its growth and brand development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic and operational planning of marketing and distribution activities, with a strong emphasis on shaping marketing strategy, enhancing agency relationships, and building a compelling company brand. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and profitability through targeted marketing initiatives, agency incentives, and performance management, all while leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence. The VP will also be tasked with partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of marketing and distribution strategies, as well as championing employee development within the organization.
Applicants for the Vice President of Marketing and Distribution position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the insurance industry, with a preference for those with a background in personal lines insurance. A proven track record of at least 5 years in progressive management, including leading teams and driving business results, is essential. The role requires a candidate with demonstrated experience in the independent agency distribution system, the ability to balance growth and profitability, and a strategic focus that extends beyond pure sales. Experience in using insurance and CRM platforms, particularly Guidewire InsuranceNow and Salesforce, is also preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at cross-functional collaboration, and leadership, and have a strong background in people development and mentoring.
